Timeline Doodles

This was a cartoon I drew on my tablet for my timeline cover photo on Facebook. I thought I could use it as a kind of drawing board. Hence the moaning statement of broke-ness scrawled across it! So that’s the cartoon version of me exploding out from where my profile picture would be.

Although my sister asked if it was me in swimsuit bursting out of the sea. I like her take on it!!!

I’d like to point out that I can actually draw better than this but where’s the fun in that?

Points of Thankfulness

This is just a random pattern I drew on my graphics tablet because I wanted to mess around with it. I was thinking of comic books while I was drawing it, maybe that has something to to with the colour palette. And the lightening bolt shapes. No idea why I called it the name I did but that’s what it’s saved as and I sure as hell ain’t changing it now! It must’ve made sense at the time.

Anyhoo, I’d love to get the pattern printed on fabric. I think it would suit a tote bag or something. Maybe a pair of Converse. That’d be awesome. Although I’d obviously have to recreate it to a higher quality. I think I did this in Paintbrush sure. Hence the pixelliness. Girly version below.

Happy Summra Time!

One of my favourite Saturday Night Live sketches. God I wish we could get SNL in Ireland.

But anyway, this post was unknowingly encouraged by What Should I Draw? I have a graphics tablet that I love and I don’t use it for anything particularly fancy. Just doodling away. I wish I knew how to use all of its no doubt almighty powers. Hardly rivaling Da Vinci here but I don’t care. But I love to just open Paintbrush (the Mac version of Paint on PC) and do a few kiddy-ish drawings. I’ve graduated from Crayola to Wacom.
